Hello and welcome to my web page! I am so glad you are here and I know we can accomplish great things. This will be a very informal page, one where you can list who and what you are looking for and can expect to be taken seriously when you say how much you are searching for help. I would like each and everyone of you who has a surname or maiden name like mine, McManemy, or it’s many variants will list the way your name is and was spelled in their place of origin or present day. I remember how my teachers used to stumble over the pronunciation of my name every first day of the new year and I know how difficult it must have been for the ships captains who brought the immigrants to our shores, to make out the thick Irish brogues and other dialects. So, take heart, my new friends, and list your names with a little history if you can and I hope that the ones who look at our page will add to it and also get the help they seek.
As you may have guessed I am of Irish, Scotch, Canadian, British and American decent and proud to be part of each!
