Welcome to Cherokee Dreams
'O si yo (Cherokee for hello). I have become very interested in knowing my heritage. I am Irish, English, Scotch and Native American. I don't know much about that part of my ancestry, which is Cherokee. I am beginning to learn just how hard it is to trace your Indian ancestry, but am learning so much about this interesting culture that I am a small part of. From what I have read, the eastern Cherokee say that if you have even one drop of Cherokee blood in you, then you are Cherokee.
These pages that follow are some of my favorite art work, poetry, native sayings, wolf information and pictures and lots of other interesting tidbits. I hope everyone enjoys what I have done. I have enjoyed putting this site together and learning about a culture that is rich in history and tradition. This is just the start of my journey Please come along with me and share in my findings.
