ABOUT ME

About Me

Hello my name is Lynn, aka Evelyn, Cherokee Spirit. So I guess you want to learn something about me?? Well, let's see. I'm divorced. Mother to 2 grown sons, Ron and Cory and grandmother of Christopher. I'm from the west, born and raised in southern California. Made my way through a lot of states between then and now. Spent 10 years in Arizona and the last 10 years in Tennessee. In September 2004, I moved back to Arizona.

I own a website competition called The Wild Frontier, along with 3 of my friends. It opened June 21, 2004. I had always wanted to do this and had a thought that maybe a western themed web competition might go over and I was right. To visit The Wild Frontier Click Here.

Along with being co-owner, I am the Team Leader of the Native Pride team and the Pioneers team, who are a bunch of spirited members. I love what I do and enjoy the friendships I have made. I have competed with my site Cherokee Dreams over the last few years and have won many awards for it. It has been a lot of fun and I have met some wonderful people. Right now though, I am enjoying just being in management.

I'm a medical transcriptionist and have done this for about 20 years now. I do enjoy the work. I do this at home, which is nice, but sometimes has its bad points. I also design websites with a friend of mine, Sharon, called SharLynn Web Designs. We haven't done much the last year and the site needs a makeover. We have started redoing it, but it is not finished yet. You can see it HERE. Hopefully, soon we will be up and going again, as soon as one of us has a spare minute.

I'm very interested in genealogy and the Native American culture as you can tell by my site. My home is filled with wonderful native things. My mother is the genealogy pro here though. She has tracked our family on her side back to Ireland and Scotland over hundreds of years, which has taken her a lot of time.

Well guess that is enough about me. A lady doesn't want to give away too much information.... I do hope you like what you saw here and will return soon. Wado.
