I have lived in Tucson, Arizona for about 13 years now. You have to be a special person to want to live here in the summer, but the winters are great. Guess that is why you can't get a seat in a restaurant in the winter, as we get a lot of "snowbirds" here from back east, trying to excape the cold weather. The desert scenery is a wonder to behold and has a beauty all its own that is hard to beat. Of course, this is a desert and there are miles and miles of nothing but desert here, but if you open your eyes, it can be breathtaking. I'd like to take you on a little trip around my state...I'm sure you will come away thinking differently than when you first entered this site.
On the following pages there will be information about the history of Arizona, some of the cities, desert critters, plants, historical sites, as well as National Parks and some great scenery. About half of the photographs were taken by me and the other half were photos I picked up off the web that were not copyrighted. I hope you enjoy your trip through Arizona and come back soon.
